Performance Features of the New Jeep Gladiator
The new Jeep Gladiator offers two engine options. The standard engine includes a V6 that produces 285 horsepower for your North Charleston adventures. The optional powertrain represents a turbodiesel V6 that churns out 260 horsepower as you cruise around St. George. The base engine features a paired manual six-speed transmission, and the turbodiesel offers a six-speed automatic transmission. Both engines provide an excellent driving experience, even on highways and around town.
Due to its off-road-oriented features, the Jeep Gladiator can maneuver easily on the rugged roads in Goose Creek. Its off-road shock absorbers soak up the ruggedness, resulting in a comfortable cruise. Its steering feels accurate, making it maneuver easily in tight parking lots. The Jeep pickup records an EPA-estimated 22 mpg and 28 mpg in the city and highway, respectively, for the turbodiesel engine. The gasoline V6 engine records 20 mpg when combined. Additionally, its towing capacity measures up to 7,650 pounds maximum.
